John
Fanuzzi and Golden Ratio join many in remembering Erica Miller,
who recently lost a courageous battle with cancer. John said, "I
met her way back in 1990 and feel very privileged that I had lunch
with her a few short months ago. She was a sweet lady, talented
and respected. We will miss her guiding light."
For more than twenty-five years, Ms. Miller embodied her highest
ideals as an aesthetician, a massage therapist, CIDESCO Diplomate,
International Examiner and spa consultant.
Called a "living
legend" by Dermascope Magazine, for whom she spent time as
Editor-in-Chief, she was internationally known as an educator, lecturer
and leader of the industry. Her list of clients reads like a veritable
Who's Who and her integrity was unsurpassed.
More than that, however, she believed in her dreams, and worked
hard to make them come true.
Spa Trade's Nancy Griffin said, "After countless interviews
with her professional peers, I realize that, with Erica, there was
no distinction between professional and personal. She loved her
work. She loved the people she worked with. And they loved her."
Her legacy continues the Erica
Miller Spa School at the Hills Health Ranch, British Columbia.
She also wrote three
books and produced a series of training videos.
