Thoughts and Insights on Spa Equipment
by Richard Eidson

When Over time, each spa professional develops a unique vision of what the concept of spa and spa treatments means to them. This vision serves as a guide as they progress in the spa profession. After many years of inventing spa equipment and traveling to different spas around the world, I would like to share my vision.

Spa Vision:

A spa is a place where people come to connect with Nature, with it’s healing intelligence and to enjoy it’s natural healing elements—direct and pure from Nature—essential oils, natural massage oils, seaweeds, muds, water in the form of steam, hydro-showers and baths, as well as its colors of light and sounds.

At each spa, an atmosphere is developed that gives a sense of peace and serenity. Spa treatments are created that combine Nature’s healing elements with the skills and healing abilities of spa professionals who take their unique understanding of Nature’s healing power to restore balance, beauty and emotional, mental and spiritual fullness. Ancient and modern theories of natural healing can be found, all based on a deep understanding of Nature, how Nature heals and unity of all things in Nature.

The results are profound experiences of connection with Nature, healing transformation and a sense of well-being. These experiences are now attracting so many people to return to Nature’s healing principles.

At a spa, you will not find pharmaceutical promises of cures from pills, but an awakening of how powerful and comprehensive natural therapies, natural products and Nature’s healing intelligence can be to heal, balance and even to awaken and unfold our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual potential.

The following are some of the benefits/results gained from quality spa experiences:

• A better understanding of how natural healing therapies and products can produce profound benefits without side effects and a dependency on pharmaceutical
• A deep appreciation of Nature’s healing intelligence functioning within us ready to heal when enlivened
A greater knowledge of the all Nature’s beautiful elements produced in a pure form with powerful healing benefits: water, sound, light, color, essential oils, herbs, muds, seaweeds and more
• The acknowledgement that it is possible and necessary to take responsibility for our own health and well-being, and the perception that this is what spas are based on and offer
• A recognition of how blissful and spiritual you can feel after a great spa treatment. Here you become conscious of how good you can feel when stress and tension are removed, when you are relaxed and more spiritually aware.
• An experience of the nurturing and healing therapies that spa professionals use to create great benefits from a spa treatment. Great spa treatments are based on the experience, intuition and abilities of gifted spa professionals who combine Nature’s healing products and intelligence to allow such profound results to unfold in a natural way.
• An appreciation for the uniqueness of each individual, and that spa programs for healing and well-being are based on discovering what is correct for that specific client.
