Dear Friends,

There are many great changes on the horizon for Golden Ratio starting with the hiring of my sister, Angela Testa, as Executive Vice President. She will be a great balance to me and the company since she has had quite a corporate background in the contract furniture industry and I have had none and my gifts have been in other areas other than company structure. In other words, she is here to add another dimension to our level of corporate competence, image, distribution, sales and product positioning.

I am very happy to have her on my team not only because she is my sister, but because she is really good at what she does and will be a great asset which she has already proven.

We are also in the process of restructuring our company to grow and better serve our industry. I could never be more positive about the future than right now. The industry is growing so rapidly with all the baby boomers getting older and not wanting to think in those terms. Everything about anti-aging, massage and all alternative care in general is reaching a critical mass.

In my own world about taking care of my body, and whatever diet changes and stretching I have done, I honestly feel like a 20 year old now, after feeling about 60 just two years ago. Wow!

Golden Ratio will soon be launching a series of new products, including a 19-pound super strong carbon fiber table, a pedicure chair called the “Victoria Queen,” a flexible multipurpose table, and a less expensive (than our pedestal mechanism) scissor-lift table. Just released is Ruthie Hardee’s Portable Ashiatsu Bars. By the way, I am pleased to affiliate with Ruthie Hardee—she has the passion to carve a new groove into the spa and massage industry using her talented feet.

It has been a busy year for traveling and trade shows. One of the nice perks is to meet our customers face to face just like in the early days. The downside is getting backlogged at home and airport blues. I do plan to spend more time in Montana in the coming year so I may be around if you should come here to visit. Customers and Friends are always welcome.

I am getting ready to attend the ISPA show so I’m off for a few days. I would like to share some photos:

Only Victory,
John
